Further Important Aspects of Copyright
With regard to the copyright policy of Painting For Charity website the artist of author (any artist, photographer or writer who displays his or her art work on the website) asserts without reservation all his/her moral rights including the right to be recognised as artist or author of his/her work. The artists and writers concerned being the copyright holders will take all appropriate legal steps to remedy any infringement of their copyright / moral rights.
As part of the copyright policy of Painting For Charity the copying, downloading of any of the art work, photographs or text on the website is strictly forbidden and as an additional precaution the art work on this site is protected with the latest technology which is 'in built' into the website.
The main reason for the prohibition of the downloading of material from the website is to ensure that the art work and material on the website are not used in a derogatory or misleading way. Painting for Charity members relate their art work, photography and crafts to influences and cultures from around the world and have a responsibility to look after and protect any beliefs and ways of living of people who might be associated with either the art work, photographs, crafts or text on the website.
All donations automatically go direct to Painting for Chairty's PayPal account and are used exclusively towards the cost of running the Painting for Charity website.
Each time an item of art work is purchased on the website a minimum deduction of twenty percent is taken by Painting For Charity to pay for the basic costs of promoting, selling, handling, delivery, postage of the art work. Eighty percent of the total cost of the item is then sent directly to one of the charities on the website who will then verify the amount given and if requested send a letter of thanks and confirmation that the money has been received safely.
Payments by Paypal
The current facility on the web-site is 'Paypal'.Payments can be made directly from the website by using the secure Paypal account just simply by entering requested details there. Paypal offers a facility for customers who don't have a Paypal account to let customers join Paypal before making payments for art work, photography or crafts on this website.
The Paypal account for use on this website has been securely and rigorously validated for use by Painting For Charity giving it the credibility that it needs to use this facility on the web-site and to allow customers peace of mind in using their financial information to pay for items.
For extra security and peace of mind all financial information used to pay for items with Paypal is not given or shown to a web-site (including Painting for Charity) and remains only and entirely with Paypal.
Once we have received your order including full payment all requested items will be packed ready for shipping and sent using a recorded delivery and / or signed for delivery service both within the UK and globally which ensure that a picture is 'tracked' (tracked in the UK only) and / or signed for by the recipient. Shipping to most countries (for an unframed picture or photograph with no mount or perspex plastic glass) is only one week (this does not include week-ends). There are exceptions with some countries taking longer to reach. However, extra time for delivery is needed for the process of the artist who holds the art work, photography or crafts to be informed of the sale and to allow him or her the time to post the article on the the buyer.
